An Easy Drive
The village is located in the center of Long Island, just off Montauk and Sunrise Highways. Park for free in the municipal parking lot in the center of the village of Bellport's Historical District.
Take Sunrise Highway to Exit 56 South - Station Road and go South 3 miles. If you are using a GPS system - put in 29 Bellport Lane which is the address of Village Hall. The municipal parking lot is located on the corner opposite the village hall, next to the Gazebo on the green. The Community Center is located at 4 Bell Street and has the public restrooms. Zip code is 11713.

You'll also notice many of the picket fences with a specific hand wrought iron gate hardware born of Bellport and admired around the world. So unique our own Chamber of Commerce adopted it as its branding in 2004.
In winter when it gets cold enough the Great South Bay freezes over and another of Bellport's unique historical features are its ice boats or scooters scootering across the Bay! A site you will never forget!
While the birth of the ice scooter didn't happen in Bellport we made the boat a legend. So proud of its scooter, the Village of Bellport adopted the ice scooter as its emblem 100 years ago. That is not a sailboat you see on the welcome signs - it is an ice scooter!
